Craig Weber has followed Christ for over 25 years. He and his wife, Carolina, first met while serving the marginalized in inner-city Philadelphia, and that shared passion for ministry has shaped their life together as they raise their four children.

More than a decade ago, Craig felt a deep calling to serve the persecuted church. In 2013, reading Tortured for Christ by Richard Wurmbrand ignited a burden he could not ignore. That same year, he began partnering with Voice of the Martyrs, speaking in churches and communities to raise awareness about Christian persecution.

His vision is simple but powerful: to connect believers in the West with their persecuted brothers and sisters around the world through prayer, advocacy, and action. With Carolina’s unwavering support, that vision eventually became Purpose Planting.

A turning point came in 2014, when over 200 schoolgirls were abducted in Nigeria. Craig’s heart broke, and his focus became clear. Years later, in 2019, he connected with Calvary Chapel Abuja, building meaningful relationships with local leaders and believers.

In 2024, Craig spent nine days in Nigeria, witnessing firsthand the realities faced by persecuted communities, including those in IDP camps. That experience confirmed his calling: to stand with the persecuted church and mobilize others to do the same.
